Gluten-free bread with Indian fig opuntia flour
The product is suitable for children from the age of 2 and adults.
Indian fig opuntia originates from North America. Nopal flour turned out to be a valuable ingredient in the creation of our bread. Thanks to it Mexican taste gained an exotic flavour. Similarly to other Smart Nutrition products, it does not contain gluten. The bread does not crumble and stays fresh for a long time. You can prepare it whenever you want. Ingredients: corn starch, potato starch, tapioca modified starch, sunflower seeds, nopal flour (Opuntia ficus indica) (6%), dextrose, salt, thickener – guar gum, emulsifier – sunflower lecithin, ground cumin, flour improving agent – ascorbic acid, acidity regulator – citric acid.
1. What are the ingrdients of Mexican taste bread?
Ingredients: corn starch, potato starch, tapioca modified starch, sunflower seeds, nopal flour (Opuntia ficus indica) (6%), dextrose, salt, thickener – guar gum, emulsifier – sunflower lecithin, ground cumin, flour improving agent – ascorbic acid, acidity regulator – citric acid.
2. How to prepare Mexican taste bread?
Shake well before opening, mix the package contents with yeast (add 5g of dry yeast or 21g of liquid yeast for 450g of the mixture) in a heat-resistant container and stir thoroughly. Add approx. 310ml of lukewarm water. Stir the mixture for about 10 minutes, using your hands or mixer at slow speed, until smooth dough forms. Place it in a preheated oven to 35-40°C and let it grow for 20 minutes. Take it out from the oven, gently mix and form small rolls or pour it into a baking tin. Put it in a warm place and let it grow for 60 minutes, then bake it for an hour in the oven, preheated to 200°C.
